Our team completed this timber privacy fence installation at a residential property in Sandgate, creating a continuous boundary along the backyard and side of the home.
The new fence features closely fitted vertical timber palings with a natural stained finish. Its solid design provides privacy from the neighbouring property, while the warm timber tones complement the home’s exterior and established trees.
Working Around the Existing Trees
One of the main considerations for this project was the row of mature palm trees growing close to the boundary. We needed to maintain a neat, continuous fence line while working around the existing landscaping.
Particular attention was given to the alignment of the timber palings and the finish around the trees. The fence follows the boundary with a consistent height, creating an uninterrupted privacy screen without overwhelming the outdoor space.
The natural variation in the timber grain remains visible through the darker finish, giving the fence character while maintaining a uniform appearance.
A Neat Finish with Greater Privacy
We’re pleased with how this Sandgate installation turned out. The closely fitted palings provide substantial screening from the neighbouring property, while the straight fence line and consistent timber finish give the backyard a tidy appearance.
